The PIC’s word is how it goes

What great power is wielded by the person in charge; they decide and speak their decision and now many are following their word as organization policy.  Yet, what determines the quality of the leader’s command?

Leadership Excellence

Good leaders give instructions grounded in the true purpose and mission of the organization so that, in truth, they embody and relay the source commodity of the entity of operation and are not issuing forth their own attitude.  The involves a selflessness that can only be generated by sincere humility and care about the value of life gererally and the specific purpose being rendered specifically.

Over-soft

The over-soft leader may have wonderful traits of many kinds, but does diminish the organization by cowardice shown in reluctance to advocate justice.  Wrongs are tolerated though policy promises redressal and direction is often weaked to where it is not truly provided.  An area of charge lacking direction will show many trouble signs.

Over-hard

The over-hard leader may have wonderful traits of many kinds, but does diminish the organization by bluster.  A show of their own ego-stake and personal power eclipses the purity of the intent of service.

Just because everything seems to be working, doesn’t mean it works for God

Many an organization seem to be going down the road within operational perameters, yet all is not well.  They are cut off from spirit and operating only by the world.  This is unfortunate.  Correction is possible, though it is available to all under the banner of the organization only at the discretion of the PIC or group of leaders and they are the ones who made the dicisions that have dried it out, killed off the heart and continued setting poor objectives and dragging everyone along. 

A change in the organization’s circumstance can precipitate a readiness to rejuvinate, otherwise we wait for personal transformation in the leader’s personal ethic or a change in leadership that brings new heart and philosophies.
